His photography takes on a new point of view and depicts everything from top to bottom, abstracting the subject and creating thought-provoking works of art.
Tommy Clarke grew up on the southern coast of England, and as a child he spent most of his time at the beach. It wasn't until he lived in Sydney that he took his first aerial shot: one over Bondi Beach. Capturing the colorful surfboards that littered the beach, they became part of his first series - Shore. Since then, from San Francisco to Mexico, to the Canary Islands, he has been flying in helicopters and small planes to photograph the colorful world below from above. When he is not traveling, Tommy works out of his London studio.
