When it is a question of a custom-made project, Agnès Karp develops a study and work project adapted to the challenges that the design and production of completely unique pieces require.
“During a visit or a while on a trip anywhere in the world, I engage in a dialogue with publishing houses and artists, whether they are in a large metropolis or in the depths of the Gobi desert, about the project and its constraints. We move forward together, and I quickly offer my client initial intentions, samples, preliminary models, a feasibility study, the logistics to be put in place, and delivery methods. I draw up a proposal for support, up to and including installation in situ, and all the related costs. Then we continue with the proposals between the artist and the client, until the completion of the custom-made design and its final installation.” A.K.
