Sylvain Piget, a painter, was born in 1988 in Cognac, France. From the age of 10, he showed a keen interest in art and took his first visual arts classes, making his paintings with the support of his teacher. A few years later, he decided to put painting on hold and moved to Barcelona. Working first in the automotive industry, the desire to create resurfaced and he resumed painting, in often difficult conditions. In 2018, he invested in his first studio in Barcelona, and thanks to word of mouth he started to sell his work. After his first exhibition in 2018, inspired by the film "The Big Blue", he returned to live in Cognac.
