With Le Commandant Charcot, PONANT imagines the voyage of tomorrow. This first polar exploration vessel, a hybrid electric ship powered by LNG, is at the cutting-edge of both safety and environmental protection. It will take you to travel in the footsteps of the great polar explorers, in a refined setting with luxury services never before offered in the extreme zones of the northern and southern hemispheres. Each space has been designed to convey discreet French luxury. The guiding principle: to allow light in and offer a view of the extraordinary polar landscapes.

To select and install each object and piece of artwork for all spaces, undoubtedly making the Commandant Charcot the most beautiful and well decorated cruise ship on Earth. More than 30 artists and craftsmen participated in this project and most of the works of art and objects were custom-made.
