After spending 15 years in multimedia and interactive design, Barbara Lormelle reoriented her career towards more physical elements. Although this discipline has been in her family for two generations, it took her some time to discover the world of handmade ceramics. Very quickly, the discipline touched her in a significant way as she felt she could explore forms, materials and surfaces, which can be diverse, inexhaustible and ever surprising. Today, she lives in a studio in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, is a member of the Ateliers d'Art de France and exhibits in art boutiques and galleries.
