This
color and this material immediately evoke craftsmanship, handwork, a color in deep reds
which is a signature of the project and evokes wine.

RECEPTION :
The reception that is part of the new buildings is treated in a contemporary manner and will be considered as
the antechamber of the castle.
The reception resembles a private lounge with its library and works of art.
The floor mixing local stone paving laid in opus dialogue with a contemporary parquet.
This paving is voluntarily connected to the glass roof that leads to the castle as an invitation for the visitor.
The visitor enters this living room where a large fresco on the ceiling catches the eye. A contemporary work whose
colors express the vines and the earth. These "tasks" evoking the bunch come to mix and create an effect
of depth to the fresco. (work by Lysiane Koller)
A desk of deliberately low height welcomes the client. Echoing the large house tables, this desk makes one want
to settle there in order to take its time. A desk enhanced by a screen that is located in the background. Evocation of the
classic heritage of the castle, this folding screen is dressed in moldings set in a contemporary manner. This
color violine/bordeaux immediately evokes the color of wine, the bunch of grapes, but also the leaves of
vines that pull on the violine when autumn arrives.
On the right, a cozy living room dialogues with objects and paintings. Objects of different styles giving the impression
that someone brought them back from all their travels (objects from 101 CPH, Utopia, FDC & Averly).
Long low furniture highlights the contemporary facade and gives it that spirit of living room and gallery workshop with a
very 'domestic' signature. A library unfolds to present travel objects and books in order
to give the impression of feeling like home.
These low furniture and libraries are punctuated by paintings. A desire to sit down and admire the work of the
different artists. Sometimes paintings evoking the morning mist that covers the vines (work by Lysiane Koller),
sometimes very contemporary black and white paintings expressing manual work (work of Cyril Destrade). Three
large wall paintings composed of succession of tracing paper evoke the vegetal, the vine and the verticality of
its expanses of vines through the artist’s graphic expression (work by Janice Melhem Santos). This
salon with a domestic spirit becomes like an art gallery mixing several universes and attracting the curiosity of the
visitor.

VERRIERE :
The glass roof acts as an articulation between the historic castle and the new buildings; it allows a reading
of the different architectures that are perceived in their integrity.
This covered passage is similar to the winter garden. Connection point between the contemporary part which is the
reception and the castle, this glass roof opens the eye to the client on the surroundings.
A dialogue with the outside through immense green pots. These pots border a stone staircase at the
balusters and pilasters with a baroque signature. (Vierkant workshop)

LOUNGE CHATEAU :
The interior reveals itself in balance between history and modernity of the furniture.
This reception lounge is punctuated by distributions of paintings that give a contemporary look to the project. The
blue color echoing the stained glass comes to balance with an off-white color in order to bring freshness and
of modernity.
The models are sublimated with a restoration work using gold leaf. These once forgotten models
reveal themselves in this new universe.
Contemporary furniture comes to dress the space and dialogue with the classic universe of the place (Fauteuils Ligne
Roset and table from Flexform). Dressed in dark blue velvet like the walls, these armchairs envelop us
will remind the comfort of armchairs of yesteryear lined with majestic velvet.

BAR :
The bar was deliberately placed in the rotunda. Creation of a cozy and deliberately subdued setting. The room is
entirely composed of historic models and stained glass windows. The red marble of the fireplace reveals itself in point
of appeal.
The contemporary velvet and leather armchairs bring comfort. In dark blue and burgundy colors, they come
dialogue with the color of the stained glass windows. (Armchairs from Ligne Roset and Moooi and tables from Flexform)
The entirety of the walls is painted in a muted blue color that dialogues with the harmony of the stained glass windows. Like the lounge, the
models restored with gold leaf are sublimated and bring sparkle and elegance to the rotunda.
The show continues with a contemporary reinterpretation of the chandelier. A majestic 2m luminaire dresses the
ceiling. (Custom chandelier from Pouenat).
This chandelier with a deliberately contemporary aesthetic comes to dialogue with a resolutely modern carpet. The design
of the chandelier comes to dialogue with the graphics of the carpet. (Custom-made carpet Gallery B)
A wine cellar sits enthroned and echoes the red marble of the existing fireplace. As a surprise, a display case treated like a
bijou pays tribute to the wines of the region.

SALLE MAURESQUE :
This room is the highlight. A setting echoing the attachment of the castle’s architect for travel and
in particular North Africa. This boudoir is an invitation to a journey towards the Orient. The Moorish ornaments
are preserved as such in order to pay tribute to the heritage and make the uniqueness of this castle. The blues, greens,
reds, roses, golds of Moorish ornaments and stained glass windows are highlighted by a background shade that is always this
deep blue. Thanks to this dark and dull shade, the ornaments are revealed through this colorful contrast.
Contemporary chairs and tables come to dialogue with this unique atmosphere mixing history and
orientalism. (chairs from Starset & custom table)
A central carpet echoing the grand mansions comes to dialogue with the contemporary parquet. A carpet at
tone-on-tone patterns, but with an Eastern evocation via this graphics of rhombs evoking the moucharabiés (carpet of
Hartley & Tissier).

GRANDE SALLE RESTAURANT :
The large dining room of the castle is entirely dressed in woodwork. This majestic room with moldings
classics is treated in a contemporary way through its colorful harmony. The room needed to be brightened up for
to give it freshness. Its white walls are adorned with displayed objects evoking memories of travels. (objects
from 101 CPH, Kose and Muuto). The violine/bordeaux ceiling evoking vine leaves in autumn comes
give presence and becomes in itself a work of art. We voluntarily kept the decorations in
ceramic on the ceiling in order to preserve all the heritage of the building.
Large contemporary paintings come to sublimate the walls (works by Tania Valiela). The colors of the earth
ochre, black blue, sand evoke the universe of the earth. The graphic universe of the paintings comes to create a counterpoint
modern in this classic envelope. Black suspensions dialogue with the works.
Like any family home, a large central carpet comes to sit around a contemporary parquet (carpet of
Hartley & Tissier).

SALLE DE REUNION :
Meeting rooms that are voluntarily modular. Sometimes a wine bar, sometimes a seminar room, these rooms must
give the impression of feeling at home. Comfortable chairs that do not have the classic codes of a room of
meeting, but rather a residential reference (chairs from Verpan).

SPA :
Oriental inspiration through a soft and warm atmosphere. The shades of wood and tiles in a
light colors evoke stretches of sand.
The moucharabieh is reinterpreted thanks to the use of terracotta screens. The terracotta color comes punctuate
the spaces through furniture and touches of painting to give warmth, but also evocation of this
tint often used in Arabian countries. This reminiscence of the Orient evokes that character trait that made
this hotel a unique place.
To this inspiration from the East comes a dialogue with modernity through contemporary furniture and the treatment of
wooden walls that punctuate the project and bring warmth. (furniture from Talenti, Ethimo & Flexform).
The spa dialogues with nature through the position of the jacuzzi which is placed in front of the landscape. Its steel tank taking
green colors of water comes to dialogue with the vines. This evocation of nature is also sublimated through
great works highlighting the strong elements of the environment in which the project is part. Details
of bark, wood, earth in terracotta colors come to dress the walls throughout the universe of the spa (works by
Veronique Durruty).

CHAMBRES :
The rooms outside the castle are part of the annex buildings. The idea was to infuse these rooms.
the classic heritage of the castle in a modern treatment. The canopy bed evoking the castle, cornices in
ceiling surrounds the room and the headboards come to be adorned with moldings. This classic/contemporary dialogue comes
dialogue with nature in the rooms overlooking either the vineyards or the castle park. Nature is
evoked through the different harmonies varying from blue, green and yellow. From paintings to wallpaper
of vegetal inspiration come to dress the walls (wallpaper from Elitis).
A floral-inspired rug (custom-made Galerie B rug) specially designed for the project stands out on the ground
in parquet. The suspensions, the lamp to place, the objects, the two armchairs (Ligne Roset) with their table give to
this room a residential spirit.
The oak parquet interacts with the oak panels on the wall. The wooden wardrobes are punctuated by a layout
of hollow joints giving the wardrobe singularity and elegance.
The bathroom is more mineral. The vanity unit and the wood panel of the basin bring a touch of wood
in this mineral bathroom. This allows to echo the room and bring an atmosphere
warm. In some bathrooms, a contemporary work in harmony with the bedroom offers a
additional modernity to this space (works by Cyril Destrade).

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section]

["post-8910","realisations","type-realisations","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry
["GET
