Sylvain Piget, painter, was born in 1988 in Cognac. From the age of 10, he showed a keen interest in art and took his first visual arts classes, creating his paintings with the support of his teacher. A few years later, he decided to put painting on hold and moved to Barcelona. Working initially in the automotive industry, the desire to create resurfaced and he resumed painting in often difficult conditions. In 2018, he invested in his first studio in Barcelona and thanks to word of mouth he began selling his works. After a first exhibition in 2018 inspired by the film “The Big Blue”, he returned to settle in Cognac.

  • Sylvain Piget, artiste peintre, est né en 1988 à Cognac. Dès l'âge de 10 ans, il manifeste un vif intérêt pour l’Art et effectue ses premiers cours d’Arts Plastiques, réalisant ses toiles avec le soutien de son professeur. Quelques années plus tard, il décide de mettre la peinture entre parenthèses et emménage à Barcelone. Travaillant d’abord dans l’automobile, l’envie de créer ressurgit et il reprend la peinture dans des conditions souvent difficiles. En 2018, il investit dans son premier atelier à Barcelone et grâce au bouche à oreille il commence à vendre ses œuvres. Après une première exposition en 2018 inspirée du film “Le Grand Bleu”, il revient s’installer à Cognac.
