Story

With Le Commandant Charcot, PONANT imagines the voyage of tomorrow. This first polar exploration ship, a hybrid electric vessel powered by LNG, is at the forefront of safety and environmental protection. It will take you in the footsteps of the great polar explorers, in a refined setting with luxury amenities never before offered in the extreme zones of the Northern and Southern hemispheres. Each space has been designed to convey discreet French luxury. The common thread: letting in the light and offering an opening onto the extraordinary polar landscapes.

Choose and install each object and each work of art for all the spaces, making without a doubt Commandant Charcot the most beautiful and decorated cruise ship on land. More than 30 artists and artisans participated in this project and most of the works and objects were custom-made.
