Like a sculptor models his forms or a painter sets his colors, the bronze artist works directly with metal to capture the light. Also working with other materials such as marble powder, glass, porcelain, bronze and recently relief prints, his creations innovate a traditional know-how by transporting it towards the futuristic modernity of an unusual universe.

Marie Pierre Bel was born into a family of artists and craftsmen. At the Boulle school, she first trained in bronze mounting, then in chasing, which she later perfected at the workshop of Mr. Guénot, in the Marais. In 1996, she became a student in the workshop of Bernard Werner, Master of Art, where she perfected and acquired mastery of the technique of turning bronze. Subsequently creating her own business, she creates cast models and prototypes for architects and designers such as Philippe Parent and Nicolas Aubagnac. Under her artist name, Mapie BelGary, she now devotes herself entirely to the creation of her own pieces, inspired by Man and Nature.
