The Iwata family is based in Hatsukaichi City, Japan. Having specialized in handcrafted woodworking for generations, some of the objects produced in the past, such as Kendama, are highly sought after. Passing down their expertise from one generation to the next, their knowledge and creativity are continually reinvented and developed. Reorganized in 2014 as Iwata Co. Ltd., the family business is now run by Kazuma Iwata.
